Peraltas Mexican Restaurant: Experience Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Winnsboro

Husband and I had the best experience at Peraltas this morning.. Food was fast, hot and super good... Our waitress named was Lara and she made us feel like she came to work strictly for us.. I even had a nice chat with the cashier on my way out.. All around great visit and definitely will be coming back very soon

I've eaten at many Mexican restaurants across the states, but this one is, by far, the best yet. The food is authentic all the way down to the corn chips. The wait staff was very responsive and polite. The food service was fast during this lunch hour, and prices were reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

When I sat down a little after 4PM, the restaurant had one other table. The other party was a boomer couple who complained about costs, spice, and sent half of what they ordered back to the kitchen. Despite his customers being rude and spiteful each time he walked away, Orlando was courteous and handled the 'problem table' with grace. Over the course of my meal, the restaurant filled with dinner guests. Dinner bell in this town is definitely 5PM. The food was delicious. I appreciate your service Orlando! Thank you for a pleasant meal and packing my to-go order!

I was really very impressed with this place. Being that it was out somewhere in a small town that I'm not familiar with, I had low expectations. The chips and salsa were good, and our entrees were delicious! The food also came out of the kitchen amazingly fast. I recommend the pork guisado and the Ixtapa for sure.

Dropped in at the end of the lunch hour, but got my drink & chips / sausa in less than a minute. Placed my order & had scrumptious beef enchiladas plate less than 5 min after I walked in. Fast service. Great food. Warm atmosphere. I'll definitely revisit Peraltas on my way to Tyler next time.

The food was amazing. It wasn't busy at the time we went, and we kept running out of our drinks, chips, and hot sauce.

Stopped in to get lunch for myself and my aunt who is in a nursing home. I ordered a taco salad and have beef fajita quesadillas. I asked if the quesadillas came with onions and bell peppers and they said no. I told them I wanted bell peppers and onions. While sitting there waiting for my to-go order I glanced down at the receipt. I was charged $2.99 for Bell peppers and $2.99 for onions . I went up to the register to ask if this was correct and they said yes. They should have said that there was an outrageous charge for onions and bell . I definitely would not have ordered them at that price. This is plum ridiculous. I know things are high these days but come on people. This kind of thing is what makes me not want to go back there anymore. What a rip-off!

Talk about an unexpected surprise! Small towns almost always have off the chain Mexican food spots this didn’t disappoint! I love fajitas but haven’t ordered them lately because let’s be honest they are expensive! Here at Peraltas the dinner fajitas were $14.99 and I shared a couple with the hubs and still have some going home! The waitress was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back! Gotta love this sizzle folks!
